Aamir to help Imran, Ali Zafar patch up

Actor Aamir Khan was touted to play mediator between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan when he invited them both to the grand wedding reception he hosted for nephew Imran Khan and Avantika Malik. Sadly that was not to happen as the two actors came and left at different times. However, Aamir may well be executing the role of mediator in the case of Imran Khan and Ali Zafar. It so happens that these two actors, who are shooting together for the film 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' along with Katrina Kaif, don't get along.

According to sources, they aren't on talking terms. A unit member informs that Imran and Ali were friends in the beginning but something unruly happened and they have distanced themselves from each other.

According to reports, Imran felt that Ali was gradually developing an attitude. It also reached Imran's ears that Ali was claiming to be the lead actor in the movie. However, Ali insists that none of the above is true, and evidence lies in the fact that he was also invited to Imran and Avantika's grand reception. He said that all was indeed well between him and Imran.

But then Ali didn't turn up at the reception. With Ali being a distant relative of Aamir Khan's, one wonders if Aamir can play mediator between the two actors and iron out whatever differences they may have.

Imran Khan in Coca-Cola's 'Shadow'

Bollywood heartthrob Imran Khan has been roped in for Coca-Cola's latest communication campaign 'Shadow'.

Part of the global 'Open Happiness' campaign in India, this is the first ever campaign in the history of Coca-Cola India, which was first released on mobile phones and online media and is now being released on television.

The campaign has already been downloaded and previewed by over 300,000 consumers and already has over 90,000 referrals online.

According to Anand Singh, Director-Marketing, Coca-Cola India, "Through the latest 'Shadow' Campaign, we aim to further create a strong emotional connect with today's youth by highlighting the need to connect with the people around us in our busy cosmopolitan life."

The latest communication is targeted at the youth and reinforces the need to connect with other human beings in this lonely world. Using visually exciting elements of shadow puppetry, the latest 'Shadow' film showcases how a bottle of Coca-Cola acts as a catalyst in making an instant connection between two strangers.

The silent yet unique interaction of the two protagonists bridging the gap of urban isolation and connecting over a bottle of Coca-Cola - has been aptly captured and is best explained by the tagline 'Coke Khule Toh Baat Chale' (Coke Opens Up Possibilities).

We cannot term it heartbreak for female fans of Imran Khan as Imran ties the knot with Avantika Malik. Actor has been dating his lady love since last eight years. Well, we can say that the Bollywood hunk has closed the last door for those, who still expected some miracle! Now, the wedding is over in presence of close friends and relatives, so the couple is flying for their honeymoon in Phuket, Thailand. However, they will be probably the first Bollywood couple, who will be accompanied by 50 guests on their honeymoon.

Just a day after their registry marriage at uncle Aamir Khan’s house, the couple is leaving for Phuket. Some closest friends and family members are joining them. Imran’s uncle Mansoor Khan, grandmother Zenaat and some aunts are accompanying the just married couple. The bride has apparently chosen a luxury island hotel in Phuket as her honeymoon resort.

The couple got engaged on January 16 last year and finally took wedding vows on Monday. Uncle Aamir Khan was present at the occasion with his wife Kiran Rao and both were in traditional attire. Aamir looked very happy and said wished the couple a very happy married life. Aamir’s ex-wife Reena also attended the ceremony with their two children Junaid and Ira.

Imran says that he is yet to feel like a married man and it will take time to get the feeling. He wore a black bandhgala and Avantika preferred a light grey lehenga choli with gold work and red border. They had a private dinner at five-star Taj Lands End Hotel with close family and friends after the wedding ceremony.
