Shahrukh Khan injured while doing a stunt!

Shahrukh Khan is injured again and this time it’s on his back and elbow. The star was shooting action scenes for Don 2.

As per reports, on Wednesday, the star, who was shooting a stunt with cables, fell down and injured his back and elbow. Then too he continued shooting, but on next day it became problematic for the star because of the severe pain from the injury. Therefore, he couldn’t practice for Ekta Kapoor’s award function Global Indian Film and TV awards, despite having agreed to perform on the show.

For the first time he cancelled a performance. No matter what, Shahrukh normally sticks to his commitments and he was apologetic while cancelling his performance. “He even told Ekta that he has never done this in his life. When he commits to an event he makes sure he does it, come what may,” a source is quoted as saying by tabloid.

But guess what! Injury couldn’t keep SRK down for long. He attended the award function and performed for a while with actresses Kajol, Sridevi, Sonali Bendre and Vidya Balan.

Nawab Shah to take on Shahrukh Khan

This Bad Man is pitted against the Bollywood Badshah in Farhan Akhtar's most awaited film DON 2 - THE CHASE CONTINUES and against Salman Khan in BODYGUARD. Meet actor Nawab Shah (JAANEMAN and LAKEER fame) who is essaying the main villain. Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan may not like one another but they have taken a personal liking for Nawab Shah. And so does Farhan Akhtar because Nawab Shah has portrayed key villainous roles in two of his directed films - LAKSHYA and DON 2.

When close friends of SRK visited him on the sets, Nawab was introduced by the superstar with a "Meet the real Pathan!" The Pathan tag sits very nicely on Nawab Shah ever since he portrayed the mean man in ESCAPE FROM TALIBAN, where he was the lead opposite Manisha Koirala.

Shahrukh khan has done his part towards Salman

It seems that actor Shah Rukh Khan is not too pleased with the way actor Salman Khan has chosen to ignore his hand extended in friendship. Both the actors apparently ensured that their paths didn’t cross at Imran Khan and Avantika’s wedding reception. “Shah Rukh had informed Aamir (Khan) that he would be late because he had a shoot to complete. Given that Salman also enters events pretty late, everybody expected the two Khans to at least be cordial to each other. But Salman didn’t stay for long and what has particularly upset Shah Rukh is that Salman has made it clear to his near and dear ones that he is not ready to accept an olive branch from his former friend,” says a source close to SRK.

Salman reached the venue close to midnight with brother Sohail and left the venue in half an hour flat, apparently using the back gate of the venue for exit. Sources say this was done to avoid crossing paths with Shah Rukh who was expected to arrive post 1 am.

“Shah Rukh came in with wife Gauri Khan very late into the night (around 2.30 am). He was seen apologising profusely to Aamir for the delay, before heading to wish the couple,” the source adds.

Speculations are now rife about the mutual avoidance and sources say that both actors could be irritated with each other. “Shah Rukh had earlier used a public platform to say sorry to Salman, but Salman chose not to make up to him.

In fact, Salman has also apparently made it clear to his brother Arbaaz that he doesn’t want to talk about Shah Rukh. So, even Arbaaz being cordial to SRK doesn’t seem to have any effects on bhai (as Salman’s referred to, in close circles),” says another source close to both the stars.

SRK has apparently decided that he will no longer extend olive branches to Salman. “SRK has done his part. Now if Salman decides not to bother about it, he feels it is Salman’s problem and not his,” adds another source.

ShahRukh khan RA.One in 3D format

We already know that RA.One is one of the most eagerly anticipated movies of the year, but what no one knows yet is that Shah Rukh Khan’s superhero fantasy film could well make a bigger dhamaka this Diwali as the actor-producer plans to release it in 3D format. A few studios have already approached SRK for the 3D format of RA.One, which is being directed by Anubhav Sinha.

Ever since SRK and Sinha started work on RA.One, curiosity about the film has only increased with each passing day. Moreover, given the genre and content of the movie, the focus will mainly be on its action scenes and visual effects for which SRK is believed to have invested a lot of money in setting up the infrastructure at his post-production house to create world class visual effects to match international standards.

It is learnt that after the film’s release was pushed from early June to October end owing to extensive special effects, a few post-production companies approached SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment to convert the live action film into a 3D format. A source associated with the SRK-Kareena Kapoor-Arjun Rampal movie revealed that the team was pretty excited on hearing that Hollywood post-production studios have evinced an interest in transforming RA.One into 3D format.

“Even though we have shot in the standard live action format, we all think it would be cool to have the film in 3D. It is not just specialist teams from the West but also our very own Prime Focus that has initiated discussions on how they plan to convert the film to 3D. SRK and Anubhav will decide on the 3D details after the post-production is more or less complete,” says our source who is closely associated with the film.

Director Sinha says, “Right now, the whole post-production work on the film is taking place at various levels. Although we have been approached, we haven’t yet taken a call on the conversion.” He adds that they would be in a better position to decide on converting the film into 3D once the post-production is complete by April end.

“But of course, we’ll first need to see the tests to have a better perspective of what kind of 3D look they have in mind for our film. Depending on that we shall take a call on whether to convert it or stick to the live action format we have already shot,” concludes the director of the Rs 150 crore VFX extravaganzas.

salman Khan rejects King Khan's apology

Seems like Salman Khan is in no mood to forgive and forget! After Shah Rukh Khan apologised to the Dabangg actor on Koffee With Karan, Salman is not ready to forgive King Khan, according to media reports. Bollywood's enfant terrible Salman, who is known to keep grudges against people for a long time, has not accepted SRK's apology. Salman believes that if SRK really wanted to apologise, he would've done that personally and not on television. "If Shah Rukh wanted to say sorry, he should have called me or come to my place, he choose to say in public which I think is not proper. I know he will never say what happened that night," according to the source.

Apparently, the feud started when SRK made a remark on Salman and Katrina which did not go down too well with Salman. Well, we hope that Salman eases his anger and lets go of the issue with magnanimity.

Shahrukh passion for Ra.One is unparalleled

Shah Rukh Khan is known to infuse passion into any film he does. But his upcoming superhero film Ra.One is extra special. Arjun Rampal, who has worked with the superstar in two films, swears by all the passion SRK is putting in the sci-fi extravaganza. “Shah Rukh is leaving no stone unturned for ‘Ra.One’. I have worked with Shah Rukh before and seen his commitment and passion. However, the kind that I am seeing in Ra.One is unparalleled. The way he is going all out to make this film extra special is commendable. His passion is just so contagious,” Rampal is quoted as saying by a news agency.

The movie has SRK playing the superhero G.One, and Rampal the evil Ra.One. Rampal had to train strenuously for this role for about three-and-a-half months.

“Yes, it was physically a very demanding part. There was a certain level of fitness which was required on my part to make this character look extremely believable. Anubhav and Shah Rukh were clear that I had to stand out to make the overall film look great,” said Rampal.
